Isabella CRUICKSHANK

Alexander and Isabella WATT (nee FINCHER) arrived in Sydney, Australia in 1857. On immigration records she states her father is William, dead and her mother Isabella CRUICKSHANK is in Bendigo, Victoria. Unknown if it is her married name or maiden name, as the Scots kept their maiden names. The Parish Records of Rayne have been gone through and thought she was found, but can’t connect this particular Isabella CRUICKSHANK with anyone in Australia.

All the CRUICKSHANKs found in or around Bendigo seem to be the family of a Doctor.

Isabella CRUICKSHANK arrived in Australia prior to her daughter in 1857 and was living in Bendigo.
